This beautifully illustrated book with warm, loving characters, endangered by our modern choices, reaches out to children to think about their daily actions and how they can make changes to reduce plastic and single use packaging in their lives.
This book hopes to educate and prompt a discussion at home or in schools with links to the Draco Viridi web site with further online suggestions on how to make more sensible choices to put an end to the immense plastic pollution issues that Hong Kong faces.

About the author:
Suzanne was compelled to write The Green Dragon while leading a volunteer organization she founded back in 2017. Realizing that education for youngsters was key very early into her journey, Suzanne created the appealing characters to convey a message of refusing and reducing in small steps to make a difference.
Green Dragons HK, was formed after a series of devastating typhoons revealed the extent of plastic pollution in the ocean. Suzanne, a keen dragon boater herself,turned to the dragon boat community to take action. The aim of the organization is to encourage dragon boat teams to commit to plastic free paddling and to encourage dragon boat festival organisers to reduce single use plastic at race events.
About the Illustrator:
Caroline Lewington was born and brought up in Hong Kong by an environmentally conscious family. While she works in the video production industry, drawing has remained a passion since childhood.
