What are Laundry Berry (Organic soap nuts)?

Laundry Berries are fruit that have been organically grown and received both United States USDA and EU organic certification for their production process.  These seemingly strange fruit are taken from the sapindus tree, which are grown in fresh air in Himalayan Mountains where it is virtually pollution-free. After being dried, the pulp can be soaked in water and shaken to release a natural cleaning agent commonly known as "saponin".

Method of Use:

  1. 4-5 Laundry Berries are recommended for front-load washing machines; 6-7 Laundry Berries are recommended for top-load washing machines or for dirty clothes.
  2. Put Laundry Berries into the Muslin drawstring bag provided and securely tie the bag.
  3. Load clothes into the washing machine, then place the Muslin drawstring bag from step 2 on top of your clothes.
  4. Operate your washing machine as usual with the normal cleaning methods
  5. Do not remove the Muslin drawstring bag during the rinsing phrase, when berries make clothes soft and fluffy.
  6. When the washing machine stops, remove berries from the Muslin drawstring bag and let them dry before the next use unless you are doing another load.
  7. The Laundry Berries can be reused until the color fades and they become thin and paper-like. Each bag of laundry berries can be used to wash about 4 kg clothing 10 times.
  8. In transit or during use, some Laundry Berry nuts may break down. This does not change their cleaning effect.
