Description

Beeswax Cloth is an excellent alternative to single-use plastic wrap providing the same functions. Love Earth. Ditch plastic now!

Wrap. Clean. Reuse. Re-wax.

Beeswax Cloth is perfect for wrapping dry food such as bread, sandwiches, vegetables and fruits. Just clean and use it as a food wrap over and over again.

When heavily creased, have it re-waxed!

We create your Beeswax cloth by heating natural, edible beeswax from local farms and meticulously washed 100% cotton cloths. 100% handmade and chemical-free.

How to use

  • For containers: Lay your Beeswax Cloth on a container and press around the edge of the container. Your hand temperature will mildly warm the beeswax cloth to keep your container sealed.
  • For fruits and vegetables: Lay your Beeswax Cloth on the cut section of any fruit or vegetable and press gently. Then use your hand temperature to slightly warm the beeswax to keep your food sealed.
  • You can also fold your Beeswax Cloth into a pocket, cup or even a box. Be creative!

How to wash

  • After wrapping items with grease: Use cold water and dishwashing liquid/baking soda to wash it with a sponge gently. Hang it up or use a towel to dry it and reuse.
  • After wrapping items without grease: Rinse it. Hang it up or use a towel to dry it and reuse
  • Not recommended for wrapping meat products.
  • Beeswax Cloth is only suitable for items below 50 degrees Celsius. Do not reheat or put in the microwave oven.
  • Different sizes available for multiple purposes.

S: 20 x 20cm (suitable for cups, bowls, and sectioned fruits and vegetables)
M: 25 x 25cm (ideal for bowls, plates, bread and sandwiches)
L: 30 x 30cm (suitable for large bowls and plates, a large portion of vegetables and fruits such as watermelon; foldable into a pocket or small container)
XL: 36x36cm (suitable for large bowls and plates, a large portion of vegetables and fruits, long loaves; foldable into a pocket or container)

Is beeswax edible?
Beeswax
This fatty substance (wax) from the bees' wax glands is the main component of a beehive. Beeswax is widely used in cosmetics and as a sealing package for Chinese medicinal pills.

Ditch plastic!
Plastic wrap is made of plastic and multiple chemical substances. Its short lifespan inevitably results in an excessive amount of plastic waste; which is harmful to the environment.
